Boy, Oh Boy!
Let’s go back in time. On Friday the 13th {how apropos} I was sitting in a meeting with my teaching colleagues discussing plans to take our school to a remote learning platform. While there, it dawned on me that I had completely blanked about writing my newsletter for the week as the all too obvious priorities took over. Once I got home, it was hit the ground running, as the school my daughters attend announced they were closing and moving to remote learning as well.
Take A Breath
I tried my best not to panic, as my immediate world had the potential to implode. The responsibility of keeping an older family member’s health in tact, figuring out how to feed the family, wondering what would happen with my husband’s and my business and home-schooling a 2nd and 4th grader. With lots of deep breaths, and astonishingly enough, zero tears on my part, we are beginning to adapt to our new normal.

I want to say thank you to my clients that are temporarily on the back burner, as other clients have taken top priority with their rapidly closing events and businesses. I appreciate your patience and understanding and I will return my attention to you!
Who’s Zooming Who?
I’d like to give a warm welcome to all of you who are joining Zoom, the best video conferencing app! I have been using Zoom for a couple years to hold meetings with clients who are not local to the South Bay. As you are beginning to use it, please check out their support tutorials for help, here, or give me a shout and I can assist you as you jump in.
When The Dust Settles
This week has been a complete nightmare that we’d all like to wake up from. In the coming days my hope is that we can settle into new ways of living and new habits. Now that the majority of us are home, and you are moving towards getting your family into some sort of routine, I challenge you to take some time to look at the digital strategy for your business. Do you need a website? Does your website need updating? Can you move to ECommerce? How are your social media skills? Can you start posting on social? Will you start doing videos? Think about what skill sets you have that can assist you in this digital realm we all find ourselves in now.
